FAQs for Stripe

When setting up the data connection with Stripe, I do not see our company account on the list. (It may prompt you to create a new Stripe Account) What should I do?

When you connect to your Stripe instance with Coefficient, confirm that you have entered the correct information for your Stripe account in Coefficient (username, etc.)

You may also need to check if you have the right permissions/access/role with your Stripe Admin. The roles “Developer” and “Administrator” are supported with Coefficient. Accounts should also be able to connect accounts to “connect” platforms. For information on Stripe’s user roles, see their linked documentation here.

How can I rearrange the columns in my Stripe import?

Stripe's API doesn't allow columns to be rearranged by dragging and dropping fields. However, as a workaround, you can import the data into Google Sheets/Excel and use native filter/sort options to organize the columns as needed.

Why are the amounts in my Stripe import incorrect?
Stripe’s API returns amounts in the smallest currency unit (e.g., $25 appears as 2500 cents). To display the correct amount in dollars, add a formula column to your import and divide the value by 100 (e.g., =A1/100).
