Connecting to Google Drive
When you begin a CSV import for the first time, you will need to connect/authorize Coefficient to your Google Drive account successfully.
ℹ️ NOTE: You can still use the “Import from URL” option even without connecting to your Google Drive and it should allow you to import from another CSV file.
1. Launch the Coefficient Sidebar and select “Import from...”
|
2. Click on "Files". |
3. Select "CSV" from the list. |
4. Select "From Google Drive". |
5. “Authorize” Coefficient to connect to your Google Drive. |
6. Coefficient will prompt you to confirm the account you want to connect. |
7. “Allow” Coefficient access to your account. Once you complete this step, you will be returned to your spreadsheet(s) to upload your CSV from Google Drive. |

FAQs for CSV
There is an error in my URL import. What could be the reason?
- Check the format of the URL - it should return a CSV file and not HTML.
- If you publish your file on the web using Google Sheets/Excel - make sure that the file does not have any restrictions that block you from using its content. (permissions)
- Inspect the content type of your file and make sure it is comma-separated/delimited values. (Coefficient does not currently support other delimiters). The file extension should also end in “.csv”.
- If all of these are correct and you still experience errors, please contact support@coefficient.io for further assistance.
