FAQs for YouTube Analytics
What YouTube Analytics permissions do you need to connect to Coefficient?
Access to YouTube Analytics is limited to the channel owner, and unfortunately, users with Manager/Editor permissions won't have the option to connect.
Why do certain reports, like Demographics or Devices, have a limited number of fields?
Currently, reports such as Devices, Demographics, and Social feature fewer dimensions and metrics when compared to more widely used reports like Channel Metrics or Video Performance. This aligns with the limitations set by YouTube APIs. We plan to periodically update our APIs to stay in sync with the evolving capabilities introduced by YouTube through their APIs.
My import using Video dimensions only returns 200 rows and I am getting an error message in the sidebar. What can I do?
The YouTube API limits the number of rows (200) when using Video dimensions. This warning message will appear if your query has more than 200 rows and hits this limitation. |

I want to pull in revenue/monetization metrics from YouTube Analytics. How can I do this?
Unfortunately, YouTube Analytics has deprecated metrics related to monetization in their API, which means we cannot pull any fields related to revenue or monetization. For additional information, click here.
