FAQs for Instagram Insights
When I try to create an import from Instagram, none of my pages appear in the Import Preview window. How can I fix this?
Here are a few recommendations from the team to try to resolve this issue with Instagram:
1. Coefficient currently supports Instagram Business Accounts only. Make sure you're connecting to your Business Account, as Personal Accounts are not supported.
2. Make sure your Facebook page is connected to your Meta Business Account (Admin Page here) and that you have the necessary access/permissions. Instructions on linking your Facebook page to your Meta Business Account can be found here.
3. After linking your Facebook page to your Meta Business Account, you can assign the required permissions for your Facebook page by clicking the "Assign Assets" button at the top of your profile page. (See screenshot below)
ℹ️ NOTE: When assigning access to your Facebook/Instagram pages, ensure the "Insights" permission is enabled.
I have 60 followers on my Instagram account, can I use Coefficient to gain insights into my creator/business account?
Coefficient supports Instagram insights for accounts with greater than 100 followers. This is due to an Instagram analytics limitation. We are rooting for you to gain those additional followers needed! 👏🏼👏🏼
Are post-level metrics available for Instagram stories?
No - post-level metrics are only available for regular posts, reels, and feeds (image, video and carousels). We do not support stories as their insights disappear after 24 hours.
Why am I seeing only the top 45 performers in demographic metrics?
Demographic metrics return data for the top 45 performers only. For example, 'audience_city' will show information for up to 45 cities with the highest number of followers.
Why are some viewers not included in demographic metric calculations?
Only viewers for whom we have demographic data are used in the calculations for demographic metrics. If demographic data is not available for a viewer, they won't be included in these calculations.
