Generating a Campfire API Key
Before you can create a connection in Coefficient, you’ll first need to generate your API Key in Campfire.
|
1. From the Campfire (UI) menu on the left side of the homepage, navigate to Settings. |
2. The Settings menu will expand, scroll down until you reach the Developer options. Select "API Keys" |
3. All users and existing API keys within your Campfire instance will be displayed on this page. Locate the appropriate user email, then click “Create API Key” to generate a new key.
4. Campfire will generate a new API Key for you. Copy the Key and paste it into the API Key text box from the Coefficient connection screen. Click the “Connect” button (blue) in the Coefficient sidebar to establish your connection. (Step 4 below)
ℹ️ NOTE: Make sure to save the API Key since this can only be viewed once. The Campfire platform doesn't allow you to view the full token on their platform beyond this screen.

3. Select “Add Connection” at the bottom and then “Connect” to Campfire. |
