FAQs for Freshsales Integration
Connecting to Freshsales
When you begin a Freshsales import for the first time, you will need to go through a few steps to connect to Freshsales as a data source for Coefficient.

1. Open the Coefficient Sidebar and click the Menu. |
2. Select “Connected Sources”. |
3. Select “Add Connection” at the bottom and then select “Connect” to Freshsales. |

4. Generate an API Key for your account in Freshsales. ℹ️ NOTE: If an API Key is not yet created for your account, it needs to be created from the Freshsales platform. Please see the Freshsales API documentation for details. |
5. Enter the API Key generated from Freshsales and click Connect. |
6. When successful, you can proceed with creating an import by clicking the "Import data..." button at the bottom. |
Import from Freshsales

1. Open the Coefficient Sidebar and click on the “Import from…” button. |
2. Select your “Freshsales” connection from the list. |

3. Enter a clear and specific prompt describing your request for the data you need from Freshsales. |
4. Fields relating to your request will appear in the sidebar for your to select/unselect to include in your import. Click on "Add fields" to show all available fields. Click "Import" to proceed. |
5. Please allow a moment for the agent to generate your import. (The results will appear shortly.) Congratulations on creating your first Freshsales import through the agent chat! 🎉

How can I update or add filters to refine the data in my Freshsales import?

To edit your import, open it from the sidebar and click “Edit this import” under the summary section (see screenshot). From there, enter a new prompt in the agent chat describing the updates you’d like to make (such as adding filters or adjusting sorting). |
Can I schedule my import for auto-refresh after it has been created by the agent?
Yes, once your import has been created by the agent, you can schedule it to auto-refresh from the “Refresh Schedule” section in the sidebar.
How can I provide feedback about my experience with the agent chat?

After your import is created, a prompt will appear in the sidebar allowing you to share your experience with the agent by selecting like or dislike. Your feedback helps us continue to improve the experience. 🙏🏼 |
