Lokalise is a translation management platform that helps teams translate, manage, and collaborate on multilingual content. With Coefficient, you can import your Lokalise data into Google Sheets or Excel to track translation progress, build reports, and analyze your localization work.
Through Coefficient's AI-powered agent chat, you can quickly pull data from Lokalise and organize it in your spreadsheet. Once imported, you can also schedule automatic refreshes, create snapshots, and set up automations to keep your data up to date. 🌍

Connecting to Lokalise
When you begin a Lokalise import for the first time, you will need to go through a few steps to connect to Lokalise as a data source for Coefficient.

1. Open the Coefficient Sidebar and click the Menu.

2. Select “Connected Sources”. |
3. Select “Add Connection” at the bottom, then “Connect” to Lokalise.

4. Generate an API Token for your account in Lokalise. ℹ️ NOTE: If an API Key is not yet created for your account, you will need to create one. Please see Lokalise API documentation for details. |
5. Paste the API Token generated from your Lokalise account and click Connect.

6. When successful, you can proceed with creating an import by clicking the "Import data..." button at the bottom. |
Import from Lokalise

1. Open the Coefficient Sidebar and click on the “Import from…” button. |
2. Select “Lokalise” from the list. |

3. Enter a clear and specific prompt describing your request for the data you need from Lokalise. |
4. Fields relating to your request will appear in the sidebar for you to select/unselect to include in your import. Click on "Add fields" to show all available fields. Click "Import" to proceed. |
5. Please allow a moment for the agent to generate your import. (The results will appear shortly.) Congratulations on creating your first Lokalise import through the agent chat! 🎉

How can I update or add filters to refine the data in my Lokalise import?

To edit your import, open it from the sidebar and click “Edit this import” under the summary section (see screenshot). From there, enter a new prompt in the agent chat describing the updates you’d like to make (such as adding filters or adjusting sorting). |
Can I schedule my import for auto-refresh after it has been created by the agent?
Yes, once your import has been created by the agent, you can schedule it to auto-refresh from the “Refresh Schedule” section in the sidebar.
How can I update the API key for my Lokalise data source connection?
When you edit your import and open the Agent Chat, the AI will automatically detect if your API key is no longer valid. If needed, you’ll be prompted within the chat to update or enter a new API key.
How can I provide feedback about my experience with the agent chat?

After your import is created, a prompt will appear in the sidebar allowing you to share your experience with the agent by selecting like or dislike. Your feedback helps us continue to improve the experience. 🙏🏼 |
